were having with our broken sprinkler pipe. He was able to come out next day first thing in the morning. He not only replaced broken pipe he checked all sprinkler heads adjusted the ones that needed adjusted and replaced one that we didn't know it wasn't working.

I called Five Star Irrigation about my sprinkler system displaying a P Station Error code and not working. I informed the tech (Trey) the system quit working about the time my yard was trenched to install a conduit for automatic gate system. Trey advised his company has a systematic process that will discover and isolate any problems associated with the sprinkler system.
Trey arrived promptly at the appointed time and began testing the system through his systematic process. He quickly isolated a bad relay. He advised there may be other issues, but the relay needed to be replaced to continue testing the system. Sure enough after he replaced the relay the system began functioning and the error code disappeared.
Trey continued his testing to ensure there were no other issues with the sprinkler system. He also adjusted two sprinkler heads to ensure they covered the yard area they were designed to water.
Trey was very informative as to what actions he was taking and why. He explained the operation of different sprinkler system modules including the relay and their required tolerances for proper operation.
As to the drenching theory he advised it may have been a coincidence and not related to the faulty relay. I think during the trenching incident was the first time I tried to start sprinkler system this Spring, so he is probably correct, just a coincidence. Also, Trey did not detect any cut wires, shorts opens, which would have indicated possible damage from the trenching.
Ovall, I was thoroughly impressed with Five Star Irrigation and especially Trey for his skills, knowledge and ability to quickly troubleshoot and fix a complex problem and inform the customer on the inner workings of a sprinkler system. Trey is professional but also personable and keeps the customer informed and also provides best practice information.

I am currently in a unique situation to where I could not be present for the tech to come to my house. This organization not only quickly responded to my email but gave me a fair quote. Then upon arrival to my property they went through a full diagnostic instead of going straight to the much more costly fix they previously assessed could be needed. Here's the saga of my irrigation pump problems and how 5-star irrigation came to my rescue.
My residential irrigation pump needed to be replaced. The company (who I won't name) that came to replace it took the system apart, brought the wrong pump and dropped critical pieces of the jet-pump system down the well... then they ghosted me.
I contacted 5-star irrigation and Trey was here the next day. He quickly recognized the well situation and got his well-guy (Doug Ray) here that afternoon and Doug took care of the well part. Trey then sourced a replacement pump, drove 100 miles to pick it up and had our system up and running by noon the next day. In addition to replacing the pump 5-star checked our sprinkler system for other problems, cleaned the sprinkler heads, and adjusted our system for better performance. Everything works great now and I'll continue to use 5-star for all our irrigation needs.
